Simple Flirting Tips That Work

By Ron Zvagelsky

Some people may raise their eyebrows at the mere thought of flirting. But flirting is actually an indispensable phase of human relations and is the most natural way to win someone over. There are a lot of experts who spend their time exploring the strategies of effective flirting—in fact, it is a science in its own right. To get you started on charming your way to a person’s heart, here are flirting tips that can work wonders: Appear Approachable Be friendly and make smiling a natural habit. Make a little effort to make yourself presentable and dress well at all times. You never know, you can meet your dream girl/guy in a crowded substation, so it’s a good thing always look your best. Another tip would be to add something into your daily wardrobe that people can quickly comment on. Always Compliment Be generous with compliments. To a woman, you can say something nice like how her clothes flatter the color of her eyes or something along those lines. Make Contact There are basically two ways to get someone’s attention – verbally and non-verbally. Making eye contact still work wonders but staring should definitely be avoided. Looking into each other’s eyes can break the ice between strangers – and it’s the gateway to starting a conversation. Making contact verbally may prove to be a little more challenging – especially when those first words never come out as you planned. Asking a friendly question like “Can you recommend a good drink?” or a simple request such as “Can you help me with uncap this tight bottle?” might get things going. Of course, always make your approach with the best intent and a good-natured smile. Brush up on your conversational skills It always flatters someone if you show interest in him or her. For instance, ask them what they do for a living. Explore the things that you have in common and put some extra emphasis on those subjects. Try not to talk about yourself too much, if they want to ask questions about you they will do so as your conversation progresses. Flirting should always be a fun endeavor and not the time to think of rejection. Remember that you will never win the lottery without a ticket. Flirting takes practice and in time you will find which strategies work for you. And who knows, you might just find your life partner just around the corner – so go ahead and make that move!
